Learners are introduced to core numbers and shapes.

Service Description

This foundational stage brings mathematics to life through play and exploration. Students develop number sense by counting, ordering, and comparing numbers up to 20. They are introduced to simple addition and subtraction using physical objects. In geometry, they learn to identify and name common 2D and 3D shapes in their environment. The concept of measurement is introduced by directly comparing two objects (longer/shorter, heavier/lighter). The course emphasizes the use of mathematical language to describe patterns, positions, and simple data displayed in pictograms. Contents: (1) Numbers to 10 (2) Geometry (3) Fractions (4) Measures (5) Working with numbers to 10 (6) Position (7) Statistics (8) Time (9) Numbers to 20 (10) Geometry (2) (11) Fractions (2) (12) Measures (2) (13) Working with numbers to 20 (14) Statistics (2) (15) Time (2) (16) Position, direction and patterns
